Privacy Policy
Effective November 4, 2026. This policy explains what information Vegetaritory (“we”, “us”) collects at vegetaritory.com and what we do with it. Questions: [email protected].
The short version
- You don’t need an account to use Vegetaritory.
- Your saved places, notes, ZIP code and settings stay in your own browser. We never receive them.
- If you join our email list, we use your email only to send you Vegetaritory news. We never sell it.
- We don’t run ads or advertising trackers.
Information stored only on your device
When you save a place, write a note, type a ZIP code, or tick “Don’t show this again,” that information is kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and it does not carry over to your other devices.
Information you send us
- Email list. If you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your ZIP code. We use them to send updates about Vegetaritory, including launch news and promotions, and to understand which areas people want covered. If you join through someone’s share link, we record that so they can get credit. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- Email to us. If you write to [email protected], we receive your message and email address and use them to reply.
Information collected by the services we use
- Hosting. Vegetaritory is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page opens.
- Links to other sites. Directions and review links open Google, Yelp or HappyCow. Their own privacy policies apply once you are on their sites.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. We share it only with service providers that help us run Vegetaritory, such as our email provider, and only to do that job, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us to see or delete the information we hold about you by writing to [email protected].
Children
Vegetaritory is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
